This website was created as an additional resource for my students and visiting guests who would like to know more about Kyokushin Karate and our Dojo. I have just redesigned my website and i am sure you will find it easy to navigate through. Osu!

Sensei Mark Tyson is a Yondan (4th Dan) Kyokushin Karate Instructor with over 27 years experience in Kyokushin Karate instruction and is certified under the Australian Kyokushin Karate Association (A.K.K.A), and is accredited by the Australian Sport & Recreation.

The physical training involved in Kyokushin Karate develops co-ordination and increases strength and flexibility, which is important during these years of physical change. Kyokushin Karate is a very exciting martial art that focuses on character development, physical fitness and practical self-defense.

Our classes are highly structured, where students are constantly encouraged to do their best. As a result, students learn self-discipline, a positive code (bushido) of behaviour, integrity, refined manners includine honour and pride which forms a better understanding of sportsmanship… character traits that will take them far in life. Courtesy, self-control, integrety, respect, perserverence, discipline, and self defense.
